Chef Ebikela Emiowei loves to cook, read, and travel – the simple
pleasures of her life. She is a certified Food Industry Consultant and the Principal Consultant at ‘’Simple
Pleasures Consult’’, a full service catering, confectionery and consultancy business in Nigeria.
A graduate of Hotel Management and Catering, Chef Kela is
also a certified baker and advanced sugar-craft instructor. She has attended
various business and management trainings (both local and international) and
has over seventeen (17) years of combined work experience in restaurant and
kitchen operations from the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos and the White Castle
Hotel, Yenagoa; Customer relations, team lead, and website management from
British Airways PLC and Elite Travels & Tours LTD, Lagos; and as Cake decorator/Sugar-craft
instructor with Stesi Events, Lagos.
She also holds two entrepreneurial business certificates from
CBN South-South Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Calabar; and Enterprise Development
Centre (Pan-Atlantic University) in collaboration with the Federal Government
YouWin program.

Foodpreneurs where she provides free online consulting and recipe development
services to members with small food businesses and start-ups.
