Celebrating Nigerian Dishes

Cooking does not have to be a chore, as some of us seem to think. It can be (and is for me) loads of fun. My mission, vision, and purpose today is to celebrate life with you, and those simple things - such as cooking, and of course, eating - that can give you absolute pleasure.

This coming month (June), Simple Pleasures is all about celebrating our very own indigenous dishes. Yes, we are celebrating Nigerian dishes.
So what's your favourite? Mine is Ekpang Nkukwo, from the cross Riverine part of Nigeria. Made with both wateryam and cocoyam, the dish is known as a delicacy.

Why not tell us your favourite nigeria dish and what makes it special for you, that is, what pleasure you derive from eating it. We'll feature the most popular dish, and include recipe, as well as actual market prices of items/ingredients. We want you to try it out at home, tell us your experience while cooking and the end result.

Let's just have fun, cooking, sharing, laughing .... it's all about life, it's all about you.

xoxo,
Kela
